Christopher was not sure about the sand at first - he wouldn't walk in it. But after the first day - we couldn't get him to stop. We had to do a 3 to 1 guard defense to keep him from running off.
Easter morning - Tony gave the baby a Easter bucket full of sand toys - So we spent the day building sand castles. Christopher smashed them and we rebuilt.
He did get in the ocean with Tony. Tony would stand in the ocean and Christopher would run right to him. He had a hard time walking when the waves pulled the sand out from under his feet. Momma was very afraid because he has no fear.
We went to the ocean at sunrise - this is Christopher's favorite way to travel. Tony and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary while on vacation. I am very blessed to have Tony. He is a wonderful and caring husband and amazing father.

Baby and Momma.We went to 1 Reds Game - Christopher thought that was fun for about 3 innings. We went to the beach everyday and played in the sand and ocean. We walked and collected sea shells. We ate out allot. Christopher knew every lady on the island by the time we left - he waved, smiled, played peekaboo and said "Bye" to them. We received many compliments on him. We went on a trolley ride around town - I thought Christopher would love it - we even sat in the open air area of the trolley. He was afraid and hid his head and curled his little legs up into a ball. I don't think he even looked out the window. We were planning a Sailboat ride - but after the 10 minutes of torture on the trolley we decided that he may not like a 2 hr sailboat ride. We will try that next year.
It was a great week - Tony and I enjoyed being with Christopher all day everyday. It is amazing to watch him learn and change. We miss so much when we go to work.
