Last weekend we made it to get Christopher's' First year pictures. We have been going to Sears since he was born - we changed Sears this time to one that is closer to home - we made our appointment right before lunch so he would not have food in his hair - He likes to rub his head with food on his hands.
Well - Sears was running late - so we sat in the suffocatingly hot studio for 45 minutes - when it was our turn - Christopher was tired and we were all hungry and hot - So we didn't get very many poses before the tears began to flow.
When I got home to look at my CD - they didn't give me all the pictures - I called and complained and they said just come back and we will fix it - sure I have a baby and a job and it is only an hours drive - so we went back this weekend to get a new CD - On the way there Christopher started puking in the new van - I had to make an emergency stop at a gas station to change his clothes and clean the truck. When we finally got to Sears - Christopher didn't have a coat due to the puking - so he was wearing my coat and hat and I was cold - then we went back into the sauna heat of the portrait studio - for some teenage kid to tell me that I did get all of the pictures and the I had to pay extra to the rest - - ahhh - I just drove an hour - with a puking child and you will give me my pictures!!! I think they put a star by my name **crazy lady** -- But I did get my pictures and no one lost any appendages.
