This Mamma is for Obama!

Tony and I went to the Obama Rally in Indy. This is not the the first time I have seen Barack. I have volunteered with his campaign locally and will volunteer more as the election approaches. I have been a supporter since he joined this race in January 07. But he is more impressive each time I hear him.

When Evan Bayh announced "The next President Barack Obama" and Barack came through the crowd, I had tears. Not because I think of him as a celebrity. But because I think of my child and the future that we will have with Barack as President. I want a better world for Christopher. A better United States. I want him to accomplish more than Tony and me, I want him to have opportunities that we did not. I worry about his health, his education, his career choices... When I see Barack Obama, I see a future for Christopher that is not bleak, a future that is full of opportunities.

There are many rumors floating around out there, so here's some information about Barack's positions on things I know are important to you:

This is probably going to be the most important election in my lifetime, and it's something I strongly believe in. So let's talk about it. Ask me anything.

My camera phone doesn't take great pics. But this from the Rally

We had a Obama representative come to talk at my work about how he will elevate the priority of folks with disabilities (McCain representatives were invited too but canceled last minute). He said for the first time that he will create a cabinet position just to keep people with disabilities in the forefront of every decision made by his administration.
